Details

Description:
Cannot play back any h.264 encoded video content in Firefox (tested on version 42). Running KDE Plasma 5.5 on a system with an R9-280 on the open source AMD drivers. Works fine with gstreamer-vaapi 0.6.1.

Additional info:
* gstreamer-vaapi 0.7.0-1
* config and/or log files etc.


Steps to reproduce:
sudo pacman -S firefox gstreamer-vaapi
firefox
Install greasemonkey extension and Viewtube script (http://isebaro.com/viewtube/?ln=en), go to Youtube, force it to use mp4
Does not play video

Additional comments about closing:  Firefox 43 now uses FFmpeg for H264 decoding and GStreamer is only used for MP3 playback.

Same on intel drivers (xf86-video-intel)
