Description:

New wpa_supplicant version breaks my netctl-auto service. It was working okay before the upgrade and I can confirm a downgrade fixes the issue. When restarting the netctl-auto service Journalctl -xe shows the following:

I can use wifi-menu to connect, but before I see the ncurses window, the following error shows:

Could not read interface p2p-dev-wlp2s0 flags: No such device

I can use the netctl utility just fine though to connect to a wireless profile.
