DetailsRight now lapack installs lapacke. However when Atlas is installed, both lapack and lapacke are uninstalled.
Some packages which depend on the lapacke interface can not uitilize the faster atlas library because of this. One possible solution would be to create lapacke into its own package and have it optionally depend on atlas. |

The only way I can think of solving this is splitting lapacke from lapack, since atlas doesn't provide a C lapack interface
