Since USERGROUPS_ENAB is set to yes in /etc/login.defs, userdel removes the fcron group (provided no other users belong to it), meaning that the groupdel call is superfluous (in most cases). Suggest removing the groupdel call, or prepending it with '|| return 0', or an informative message why the group couldn't be removed.
