What happens when you run `python` on the command line, then run `import gi`?
Comment by NagatoPain (numbchild) - Tuesday, 01 December 2015, 07:31 GMT
It report error `ImportError: No module named 'gi'`

With python-gobject installed, you should not get that. This isn't a pitivi problem.

Do you have $PYTHONPATH set? Anything strange turn up when you run pacman -Qkk python-gobject?
Comment by NagatoPain (numbchild) - Tuesday, 01 December 2015, 08:41 GMT
I don't have $PYTHONPATH set.
And no strange turn up when running `pacman -Qkk python-gobject`.
Here is the output:
`python-gobject: 92 total files, 0 altered files`

And I can run pitivi from GUI launcher icon.
But it doesn't have window border etc.

"python" is python3.5, right? And `which python` gives you /usr/bin/python?
Comment by NagatoPain (numbchild) - Wednesday, 02 December 2015, 01:32 GMT
Yes, Python version is `3.5.0`, and `which python` gives me `/home/user/.virtualenvs/python3/bin/python`.
Comment by Doug Newgard (Scimmia) - Wednesday, 02 December 2015, 02:02 GMT
Ah! So you're not running the system "python". That's your issue.
