Current version depends on libicui18n.so.55; this library was updated to 56 on the last update 2015-11-03 15:41 UTC. Break compatility with R packages, e.g. ggplot2. Yields error message: unable to load shared object '/home/jj/R/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-library/3.2/stringi/libs/stringi.so': libicui18n.so.55: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory re-compiling r against new libraries may solve the issue. Additional info: * package version(s) [r] 3.2.2-1 [icu] 56.1-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: #install r from repositories pacman -S r #open r r #install ggplot2 install.packages('ggplot2') #yields the error message, if ggplot2 already installed: library(ggplot2) #yields the same error message |

That library is in your home folder, you'll have to rebuild it yourself
