DetailsI just discovered this when trying to play an MP3 with the libvisual Corona display enabled... Totem will spit out this error immediately upon opening a file that would trigger the use of a libvisual display:
Totem could not play 'file:///[location of file]'. Missing element 'videoscale' - check your GStreamer installation. My GStreamer installation, as it happens, is fine. At first I thought this might be a problem with scaling the window ("videoscale") so I disabled automatic window scaling, but that didn't change things - this seems to be a libvisual problem exclusively. |

should be fixed with the latest gstreamer0.10-base, at least it is now fixed for me...
