DetailsDescription:
If either of the breezy or oxygen icons are not install, icons are missing from kdenlive's interface. Also, XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE must be set for icons to appear. Additional info: kdenlive 15.08.3-1 Steps to reproduce: * Do not have the plasma group or plasma-meta package installed * Install kdenlive * Use some windows manager (I'm using xmonad) * Export XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE (which makes icons appear if available) * Start kdenlive * See that many icons are missing |

Well, if you want icons, then of course you need to have an icon theme installed. If you use a DE then it will usually have a default icon theme, but if you don't it's your job to make sure one is installed. About the XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP variable, this is already documented on the wiki, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Qt#Configuration_of_Qt_apps_under_environments_other_than_KDE
