DetailsThe kernel currently features Ubi (and UbiFS) built as a module, however block device support for Ubi is missing.
This renders the 'ubiblock' tool shipped in core/mtd-utils pointless. I suppose there aren't many users of Ubi in the first place, but as block support is built into ubi.ko (which we already ship) it's a pain to build out-of-tree. Please consider enabling CONFIG_MTD_UBI_BLOCK [=m]. |
