I can confirm this bug on X230 with kernel 4.2.5-1. It started happening after xorg update 1.18, and it can be 100% reproduced by locking the screen and closing laptop lid. After opening the lid everything freezes, but mouse.

Please test latest driver and mesa version in testing repo with latest 4.3.x kernel.
