Hi,

After having set my locale correctly in my /etc/rc.conf, and having had gtk locale errors for quite a while without understanding why, I finally found the locale generation instructions in the following Arch Linux Newsletter. Could they be added to the Installation documentation ?

http://archlinux.org/~jason/newsletters/newsletter-2006-Mar-05.html#frontpagenews, "Important glibc locale change in testing"

Thanks,
Mark.

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  Configuring /etc/locale.gen is now part of the common installation procedure in 0.8, and therefore documented properly in the new installation guide.
