Description:
Internal display on i915 eDP port flickers on resume from standby. No relevant messages in dmesg. RedHat bug report seems to indicate that this is a problem with eDP link training. Additional info: * Computer: Dell 9530 XPS 15 touch * CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4702HQ CPU @ 2.20GHz * core/linux 4.2.5 affected * core/linux-lts 4.1.8 through 4.1.12 NOT affected * Forum post: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=203088 * RedHat bug report: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91393 Steps to reproduce: Place computer in standby mode, then resume from standby. Observe intermittent display flicker. |
