Currently pulseaudio in arch have flat volume disabled by
default, so I think that deferred volume should be disabled
as well. According to pulse-daemon.conf(5), deferred volume
is a feature for working around issues in flat volume, so I
assume that there's little reason to leaving it on alone.
Not to mentioned that it seems to be buggy enough to cause more trouble (all by itself) than flat-volume, here's my case, for example: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92717 |
