DetailsCurrently pulseaudio in arch have flat volume disabled by default, so I think that deferred volume should be disabled as well. According to pulse-daemon.conf(5), deferred volume is a feature for working around issues in flat volume, so I assume that there's little reason to leaving it on alone.
