The icon size for the desktop icon installed into /usr/share/icons/48x48/apps/scorched3d.png is wrong. The icon should be 48×48 (obviously) but has size 128×128 actually. This causes a weird icon display on my XFCE desktop and probably may confuse other desktops, too. This seems to be an Arch Linux issue, because it seems the FreeDesktop files are an addition by Arch Linux. I have not located related scripts in the Scorched3D source code, I also did not found any .desktop file in the official source code distribution. Additional info: * package version: scorched3d 44-7 Solution: Move icon into correct directory, that is, /usr/share/icons/128x128/apps/scorched3d.png . You *could* add scaled down icons into the other directories, but I think this is optional. |
