Description:
I was just trying to use GPG with a HKPS server, as described on
https://sks-keyservers.net/overview-of-pools.php. I am always getting the following error

$ gpg --search-keys 2071B08A33BD3F06
gpg: error searching keyserver: General error
gpg: keyserver search failed: General error

When I use hkp://p80.pool.sks-keyservers.net it is fine.

I submitted a bug Issue2130
https://bugs.gnupg.org/gnupg/issue2130
upstream. Seems like this error was already there in the past.
Further information in the bug report, config files and so on.

Steps to reproduce:
