Archboot has too many dependencies. Most of them should be optional. This wil make archboot really modular utility (as stasted in it's description).
Dependencies, that should be optional:

cryptsetup, e2fsprogs, jfsutils, reiserfsprogs, xfsprogs,
iputils, net-tools, netcat, snarf,
cvs, wireless_tools, pcmciautils,

yes atm it's work in progress and you can modify it on your own ;)
i try to clone the arch install cd and there all these programs are included.
EDIT:
also the arch setup script needs tons of those programs, that's the reason for specifying them all.

Where is CVS entry for it? And for mkinitcpio, mkinitpxelinux, mkinitsyslinux, mkbootcd, klibc, klibc-extra???

Why it needs them all? If some feature is not used - correspondent utils are not needed, I suppose.
What if user want's to use archboot to make his/her own arch CD and don't want all other stuff?
I know that right now, when archboot is in developement - there is no real need to polish dependency list. But I would like to see a much less dependencies. ;)

well it clones the arch install cd there all these programs are there and probably used in setup script or usefull on commandline,
it's very easy if you want to modifiy it to your needs so please adjust everything how you need it, arch is easy to modify
