Details

Untested patch by a non-PHP programmer attached.
When adopting packages display the succesfull adoptions
and explain, why it might not have worked.

Additional comments about closing:  Patch is well out of date and I'm not sure the idea needs its own bug.

I don't think we really need this and the translation function isn't used in this patch, would require more work than what's worth.

The patch doesn't apply anymore but it's not a bad idea.
