Over the past couple of weeks, when opening my laptop lid my wireless networking is turned off. I must physically toggle on wireless in the Gnome wireless menu, or press the wireless key switch (fn+f2). The weird thing is that when starting my laptop on cold boot, my wireless works perfectly, and when suspending my laptop without the screen close, my wireless works fine once woken up. Further, my wireless works perfectly once it is turned back on. This is mostly just an annoyance.

I have narrowed it down to something in the Linux 4.2.x kernel, as reverting back to Linux-Lts (4.1.x) does not exhibit this issue. I am not sure if this happened when 4.2 was first released to stable, or if it was on a subsequent update, but as of now 4.2.2 and 4.2.3 (in testing) both have this problem.

For the time being, I will use the Linux-Lts kernel.

My network card is:
02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 6b)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
Kernel modules: iwlwifi

Attached is the JournalCtl message showing the wireless card being turned off upon resume.
