Description:

While diffing my config files against .pacnew ones, I noticed
that the newest /etc/dnsmasq.conf now defines
#conf-dir=/etc/dnsmasq.d/,*.conf as the default
instead of the former
#conf-dir=/etc/dnsmasq.d/*.conf (notice the comma here)

I am unsure if this change was intended as I can not find a single example on the web with this construct
nor figure out what this change is supposed to do in the first place.

If this was intended, sorry to have wasted your time but could you please explain what this change is supposed to do?

And the documentation agrees since the usage is explained as:

-7, --conf-dir=<directory>[,<file-extension>......],
