DetailsThe shntool binary has a number of optional dependencies listed in [1] under "Helper programs", which are not reflected in the package's metadata. I've been able to identify these packages (some of them are in AUR):
sox: support for aiff format alac-git: support for alac format mac: support for ape format flac: support for flac format shorten: support for shn format tak: support for tak format ttaenc: support for tta format wavpack: support for wv format Encoders for other formats are likely not packaged for Arch yet... |

Thanks for the effort, I've added the non-AUR optdeps to the SVN pkgbuild.
