I was getting an error when checking my journalctl using
Gnome 3.16.3 and Colord, complaining that colord was missing
libsane.so.1, to which installing the 'sane' package has
rectified. I have noticed however that the sane package is
only listed as a dependency at build time.
I am not sure what this error was leading to, nor do I really know what sane does, but perhaps it should be a runtime dependency as well as it was throwing errors. The error was: /usr/lib/colord/colord-sane: error while loading shared libraries: libsane.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |

errors in the log don't mean much as long as everything keeps
working. sane is already an optional dependency.
