Since the 15.9 release, SMPlayer doesn't exclusively rely on MPlayer : http://smplayer.sourceforge.net/fr/changes
It supports MPV too !
Description should be updated accordingly.

Moreover, MPlayer isn't even required in the current package : https://zerobin.net/?79211c79903b6608#+3x8D0EUL1ZJoE8tNoqaYQ4Wyz3z8Z74anuDVhg1bNc=
I think it would be better if mplayer AND mpv were optdepends.

Forcing MPlayer on the user isn't nice since it is arguably worse than MPV...
