When installing gpac via pacman then attempting to build x264 from source with mp4 support enabled, the x264 ./configure reports: Warning: gpac is too old, update to 2007-06-21 UTC or later This seems to be a known issue with gpac and pkg-config. Until gpac fixes this upstream, the workaround seems to be to build gpac with `--static-mp4box` as seen on gpac's Github: https://github.com/gpac/gpac/issues/230#issuecomment-139216116 |

Our x264 already supports mp4 via lsmash, is there an issue with it that justifies moving over to gpac?
