DetailsI'm pretty sure speedtest-cli should depend on python-setuptools, because it fails to run without the package. Currently python-setuptools is a make dependency, but it seems that it is still needed after install.
Without setuptools, this error occurs: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/speedtest-cli", line 5, in <module> from pkg_resources import load_entry_point ImportError: No module named 'pkg_resources' This error goes away when python-setuptools is installed. |
