Description:
I upgraded yesterday the arch-distro on my laptop Lenovo Edge E145) running under linux-lts kernel end rooted the system. After this I stated that the function hibernate did not work anymore. Symptoms after invoking hibernate: - screen becomes black (no errors/warnings displayed) - power led is blinking - system hangs for ever - only hard power-off (keeping power-button pressed for several seconds) can change this state. Because I experienced similar issues if I tried to run non-lts kernels on my laptop in the past, I suppose this hibernate issue has been caused by the new lts-kernel release, provided since a few days. Additional info: the newest state of distro arch-x86_64 with linux-lts 4.1.8-1-lts * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Invoke hibernate from the user-menu (xfce envoronment). |
