Description:
htop can read default configuration from htoprc in system configuration file. By default this is set to ${prefix}/etc/ -- /usr/etc in our case. This should be /etc, so please add --sysconfdir=/etc to configure. Additional info: htop 1.0.3-3 |

Bringing this to the top... Now that htop 2.0.0 has been release -
can we get this change in?
Bug confirmed for htop 2. When ~/.config/htop/htoprc is missing,
htop tries to read /usr/etc/htoprc.
I have tested this fix and applied it to a working htop PKGBUILD
that builds updated 2.0.0 for convenience. credits to xyproto
