Check the X2go log files on the client and server? Can you still log into the server from the client using ssh? X2go works well for me here.
Comment by David Sagasti (dsagasti) - Wednesday, 23 September 2015, 17:53 GMT
I can log into the server using ssh with no problems.

x2goclient connects to the server and the connection becomes "active". Afterwards, connection closes with no further information.

In server side, under /home/.x2go I do not have log files. I can find few files named "sessions"
The content of those files are always "Loop: WARNING! Unrecognized session type 'unix-kde-depth_24'. Assuming agent session."

I do not have access now to client files under /home/.x2goclient I will report back if I found something of interest tomorrow.
Comment by David Sagasti (dsagasti) - Thursday, 24 September 2015, 06:31 GMT
I have created a new user and been able to use x2go with it.

I have deleted all /home/x2go files under server for my regular user that was not able to use x2go. Then, I have tried to use x2go with no success. x2goclient session clossed right after the session became active.

In my server, I have automated log in configured to my regular user. I thought that maybe I was having issues while trying to have two different sessions with my regular user: 1 autoloaded in the server and 1 thru x2go.

I have then clossed the session in the server for my regular user and afterwards I have been able to open a x2go session with such user.

It seems that after the update, I am not able to have two different sessions opened with the same user.

I am having the same problem. Previously, x2go has worked fine - now I have the automatic termination issue referred to above.

I have attached the server log with the level set to debug, in case that is any help.

What desktops do you use? We had a large Gnome update lately. No problems here with Xfce sessions expect a broken clean logout.

This is with i3 for me.

...which seems to be important - downgrading i3-wm to 4.10.4-1 (from 4.11-1) makes x2go work fine again.

This seems to be a known issue with i3 (https://github.com/i3/i3/issues/2011) rather than a problem with x2go.
