Details(this would fit in all 3 categories but I went for pacman)
Now that 0.7.2 isn't far away I took a look at pacman's mirror list to see how they all match up. Here are some notes... => ftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu/ftp.oss.cc.gatech.edu/... "Please do not use the old names ftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu, www.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu, ftp.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu or rsync.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu as they are now depricated and may cease to exist. The new names for GTlib services are www.gtlib.gatech.edu, ftp.gtlib.gatech.edu and rsync.gtlib.gatech.edu." I couldn't find Arch on any server because most directories were inaccessible or I couldn't connect in the first place. => archlinux.antesis.org wrong paths, totally out of sync => ftp.rez-gif.supelec.fr could not connect => ftp.archlinux.de see http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/4440 => ftp.mpi-sb.mpg.de wrong path, mirrors incomplete ibiblio/sunsite/metalab without Arch => ftp.tu-chemnitz.de 3-4 days behind => ftp.surfnet.nl (=ftp.nluug.nl) old files are being kept, good for downgrades => sunsite.icm.edu.pl keeps old files, no [testing] => ftp.fsn.hu archlinux/ doesn't contain any files => ftp.kegep.tuc.gr couldn't connect => ftp.estpak.ee keeps old files, http://ftp.estpak.ee/stats-ftp/ might be interesting => saule.mintis.lt incomplete, no version dirs and no isos => mirror.pacific.net.au see http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/4596 or http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=21218 => cle.linux.org.tw incomplete A few mirrors are on http://www.archlinux.org/download.php but not in pacman's list: - ftp.parrswood.net - mymirror.asiaosc.org (incomplete) - ftp.ds.hj.se - mirror.cs.vt.edu If there is interest I could search for some more Ibiblio mirrors, preferably in not yet listed countries. |

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mirrors
It contains all known available and updated mirrors.
(all mirrors from the pacman files, from the website and some more found by me)
If you wish, I can update all pacman files and the website if someone give me the source of the website.
