DetailsI'm trying to upload a package named eclipse-cdt, actually in community there is a eclipse-cpp (note the different termination mine is cdt and arch is cpp) but aparently the package blacklist is not check correctly the name change and not allow me to upload the new (to aur) eclipse-cdt.
additional the message is unusefull, it simply say that I have not the rights to upload it. aditionally to the request of unblacklist eclipse-cdt and blacklist eclipse-cpp, additional a more usefull message for blacklisted packages will be better, like saying that you cant upload that package because is on the blacklist list. and not allow ssh setup-repo to add blacklisted repos. |

The official package replaces eclipse-cdt, so that one is obsolete and therefore rightfully blacklisted (note that users would end up with pacman trying to replace eclipse-cdt with eclipse-cpp from the official repositories on each upgrade). I agree on the error message, though.

Actually, looking at the code, we already print "package is blacklisted" if a package is on the blacklist. So you're probably facing another issue here. Closing this.
