DetailsAgain, embedded video does not work with totem-xine or totem-gstreamer - nothing is displayed at all. An example:

And another, to prove the problem doens't like in PBS's website: http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/9417/screen36zt.jpg The trailer should be playing in the approximate center of the blue image. There's nothing there at all. And this time, there are no dbus-related error messages. In fact, there are no error messages at all, neither from Gnome nor the console. |

Additional comments about closing: Fixed with some debian patches. totem-plugin 1.4.1-2 fixes the problems.

I usually test totem-plugin by going to the apple site, quicktime section and click some random trailer there. With both totem and totem-xine, these ones play completely fine.

It works fine with Firefox but not at all with Galeon or Epiphany. I think it's supposed to be compiled against XULRunner... Or maybe Firefox and XULRunner need separate versions?
