Reason for closing:  No response
Additional comments about closing:  This package has been updated 66 times since the initial report, spanning over two years and three minor release cycles upstream. In that time, virtualbox has been ported from qt4 to qt5.

The original reporter has not responded in the 9 months since the last request for information, and nobody else seems to see this issue. So I am assuming this is no longer a problem.

First time startup window...so small.

Seems one has to drag this handle all the way across to the left to make the properties pane appear. Is this the default behavior? I don't recall it back a few versions.

I'm guessing this is a byproduct of it opening so small to start with. The question is why it is doing that.

My guess is that since I'm using an external monitor for my laptop, and if I'm starting Virtualbox the firt time with the external monitor attached, its gui gets confused and hense the small/desorted window. When my external monitor is not attached, Vbox gui starts just fine.

Sounds more like a WM problem, then.

I'm running Gnome 3.16.2 if it makes any sense.

"General failure - DON'T USE THIS!!!. (VERR_GENERAL_FAILURE)"
After upgrading from 5.0.2-1 -> 5.0.4-1 I get the above message and can not start the virtual machine.

Is there any remaining issue with this?
