Details

Description:
print pdf, eps and png result in totally black plot

Additional info:
* package version(s) octave-4.0.0-2-x86_64
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
x=0:0.1:2; y=x.^2; plot(x,y); print toto.pdf; print toto.eps; print toto.png; print toto.svg

Only the svg plot comes out fine. Also use the graphics_toolkit('gnuplot') since I like it better than fltk or qt. For fltk and qt the plots are OK although only the svg handles UTF8 text well. Is there something extra I need to do for the gnuplot toolkit to come out OK?

Finally they pushed something into the devel branch

http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/c7d881aec36c

But dunno if this can be easily backported

Should be fixed with 4.0.1, as this commit appears in stable and default branch (not sure which branch they choose for those kind of releases, but I suppose it's stable)
