Details

Description:

Wav file loading doesn't work because of missing dependencies.

Additional info:
* libsndfile (1.0.25-3) is actually installed
* octave: 4.0.0-1


Steps to reproduce:

1. open octave
2. try to use one of the audio functions, eg:

>> audioinfo
error: sndfile not found on your system and thus audioinfo is not functional

libsndfile should be added as a dependency to octave.

My guess is that octave has to be compiled with a specific flag? I had libsndfile installed when I found this and it wasn't working then.

No, libsndfile needs to be installed when octave is *built*.

You can verify that by building the package yourself (with libsndfile installed):

ABSROOT=. abs extra/octave
cd extra/octave
makepkg -si

Octave should now be installed with libsndfile support.
