DetailsI'm trying kde on wayland using the following steps:
- stop the x server - login from a tty - run: startplasmacompositor At start I can see the kde loading thing, but the progress bar is not animated then I get a black screen and a zombie process. |
This task depends upon
Support for running a full Plasma session on Wayland is still in it's early stages. Bugs are to be expected and there are known missing features. Please consider it only as a mode to experiment with.
So we're not going to accept bug reports about Wayland Plasma sessions for now, unless it's a very specific packaging issue. Please report all issues upstream.
