Details

Without it, nautiluse-cd-burner will complain about "unable find growisofs", which makes user unable to burn DVD.

error message:
"There was an error writing to the disc:
Could not run the necessary command: Failed to execute child process "growisofs" (No such file or directory)"

[root@myhost ganlu]# pacman -Qo /usr/bin/growisofs
/usr/bin/growisofs is owned by dvd+rw-tools 6.1-1

Installing dvd+rw-tools solves the problem.

not a bug imho, you can still use n-c-b for burning cd's and all. maybe i should patch n-c-b to notify the user to install dvd+rw-tools but i need to discuss that with the gnome dev's first.

No, it's not a bug, but consider that most of people nowadays own a DVD burner instead of CD RW, could you at least add a (package) post-install message to inform user something like:
"You should install dvd+rw-tools in order to burn a DVD".
I think it is better than taking chance if upstream will like to accept such patch you mentioned.
