Details
Description:
After installing jupyter with all optional dependencies listed, jupyter-qtconsole fails to run with error: This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb". Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, xcb. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Aborted (core dumped) Installing libxkbcommon-x11 corrected the problem |
This task depends upon
jupyter-qtconsole optdepends on python-pyqt5.
Chasing the dependency chain down gives: python-pyqt5 -> pyqt5-common -> qt5-base -> libxkbcommon-x11
So it seems to have been a missing qt dependency, which has since been fixed.
