Details

Currently, URIs beginning with "mumble://" are not properly handled by XDG. This is due to the .desktop file that ships with the package.
The .desktop file installed at /usr/share/applications/mumble.desktop is missing the following MimeType line:

MimeType=x-scheme-handler/mumble

The Exec line should be modified as follows:

Exec=mumble %U

I have attached a correctly modified version.

mumble is not out of date. The fix was not applied to the 1.2.x branch, and there has been no stable release from master
