DetailsThe Package current/gdk-pixbuf does not contain pixbuf loader libraries, it just contains the pixbuf library itself. To get the file loader libs you have to recompile the package via ABS. There seems to be no package that just includes the file loader libs, so I consider it a bug. (If you rebuild the package, it contains the loader libs!)

This seems to be caused by a broken buildsystem, gdk-pixbuf can't link the loaders when gdk-pixbuf isn't installed on the system.
