Details

Description:

The Plasma desktop removed out of the box support for legacy xembed system trays. In order for them to be supported the following packages need to be installed:

Qt applications: sni-qt, lib32-sni-qt
Gtk2 applications: libappindicator-gtk2
Gtk3 applications: libappindicator-gtk3

It would be nice if these packages would be listed as optional depends for plasma-workspace.

Additional info:
$ pacman -Qi plasma-workspace
Name : plasma-workspace
Version : 5.3.95-2
Description : KDE Plasma Workspace
Architecture : x86_64

This is already well documented in the wiki, I don't think adding it to the optional dependencies will help much, users won't notice the issue until they try to run an application using xembed and by then they'd have forgotten about the optdepends.

Besides, libappindicator is not even in the repos so it can't be in optdepends.
