Details

Description:
Qt in arch uses journald to report its qDebug messages. These are invisible to Qt Creator with the build options given.

Additional info:
* Qt Creator 3.4 and later

Steps to reproduce:
Create a console only demo application and add a line to the main method with the following contents:
qDebug() << "Test Debug Message";
into the main() method.

Build this with the system Qt as packaged by arch linux

Expected Result:
Qt Creator has "Test Debug Message" in the Application output

Actual Result:
Qt Creator sees no output at all.

How to fix this:
Please change the line containing qmake in PKGBUILD to read

LLVM_INSTALL_DIR=/usr qmake CONFIG+=journald -r ../qt-creator/qtcreator.pro # Qt Creator 3.5 and later only!!!!

Qt Creator 3.4 introduced this, but had a bug there that made it poll the journal way too often, resulting in an unresponsive UI. So please only enable this when updating to Qt Creator 3.5:-)

PS: Feel free to contact me with any issue in Qt Creator you have when packaging it. I can usually help with those:-)
