DetailsRight now, https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/cmake/ installs /usr/share/applications/CMake.desktop, which basically does nothing but take up space in application menus. Seeing as CMake is, as far as I know, exclusively a CLI program, can we get rid of this?

Have you tried running the menu item (with optional deps installed)? cmake is not exclusively a CLI program.
