DetailsDescription:
On database connection errors freeradius fails to reconnect and all database connections become stale. No authentication is possible in this situation. The issue has been reported to freeradius mailing list [0] and the issue is reported to be fixed in git [1]. Looks like "Don't recusively grab mutexes." [2] is what fixes the issue. Possibly we need some of the follow-up commits as well.
