Description:

I recently tried compiling a Latex document which is using the newtxtext package (https://www.ctan.org/pkg/newtx) which comes with texlive-fontsextra as far as I can tell. Even for a trivial document (cf. attachment) this leads to the following error when using pdflatex (or latex with the \pdfoutput=1 line):
