QEMU, of course, is really intended for the host.

qemu-ga, the guest agent, is included in the current qemu package, but can be built separately, presumably smaller and with less depends.

Unless someone's running a virtual machine in a virtual machine, they'd really only need one package or the other. Seems like it might make sense to split.

Should have mentioned, Debian, Fedora/CentOS/RHEL, and maybe others have a separate qemu-guest-agent package.

Make sense to me. I think we should also ship a service file for the daemon.

If no objection, I will release a new version as soon as I'm back from vacation.

Yeah, forgot to mention that, for some reason upstream doesn't have a .service file.
