Description:
With version 5.0.0-1 of virtualbox-guest-modules & virtualbox-guest-utils I can use only one monitor. Second monitor is't detected (xrandr -q shows only one monitor) and there are no errors in xorg logs and. View -> Virtual Screen 2 from VirtualBox's GUI cannot be enabled. VM's log lacks errors too. Version 4.3.28 of virtualbox-guest-* works fine (with host's virtualbox 5.0.0 and, of course, with 4.3.28 too as well as 4.3.30). Working versions: # pacman -Qs virtualbox local/virtualbox-guest-modules 4.3.28-4 Guest kernel modules for VirtualBox local/virtualbox-guest-utils 4.3.28-1 VirtualBox Guest userspace utilities Steps to reproduce: Update virtualbox-guest-modules & virtualbox-guest-utils to 5.0.0-1, set in VirtualBox Settings -> Display -> Screen -> Monitor Count = 2, run VM. Workaround: install old versions from /var/cache/pacman and add to /etc/pacman.conf following line in order to prevent updating: IgnorePkg = virtualbox-guest-modules virtualbox-guest-utils |
