please add

export MAKEFLAGS="-j1" before the make command. Without some files are missing in the pkg. "make -j1" is not enough!

couldnt you just set it in /etc/makepkg.conf ?

sure. but i want to have maximum build speed and for using distcc it's a must. only 10-20% of the packages need make jobs set to -1. but too much to remember each of them. so we should follow most other distributions setting special optimized or reduced makeflags and cflags in the pkgbuilds.

but i always need to know if this x86_64 specific or happens on i686 too! makes a difference where to put the fix ;-)
