Details

Steps:
1. Having a wifi-usb-dongle that uses the zd1211 module driver and 2.6.16.14-4 kernel, boot up the system.
2. The zd1211 module loads correctly

Actual results:
wlan'x' network device (wlan0 in my case) doesn't appear in iwconfig nor ifconfig and so you can't use it for connecting.

Expected result:
The device works normally.

Additional comments:
This bug doesn't appear in 2.6.16.12-1 kernel.
