wireless_tools version 30.pre9-1

"iwconfig" and "iwlist rate" are reporting an erroneous and never changing bit rate, while "iw wlp6s0 station dump" does show the correct and adaptive bit rate.

The previous version of wireless_tools seems to have been working properly, though I never actually had reason to cross-check it against iw.

This is with an "Atheros AR5416 MAC/BB Rev:2 AR2133 RF Rev:81" chip-set on a pccard, using the ath9k driver.

The bit rate reported, by iwconfig and iwlist, does seem to change when the card is removed and re-inserted, but then only whatever initial rate is found is ever reported thereafter.

Reason for closing:  Upstream

Hmm - Sorry - this must be caused by something else having changed. Looking at my pacman log, wireless_tools was upgraded 2014-06-27, and NOT 2015. My bad. Perhaps this was the last kernel upgrade, linux 4.1.2-2? I'm pretty sure it was something in the last couple of weeks or so.

Still, it may be that wireless_tools will have to adapt?

wireless_tools is pretty well dead and gone. Since this is most likely an upstream problem, there may not be much to be done.
