DetailsThe PKGBUILD for acroread lists a patch in the source array (without URL) but it is not in CVS.
(I found one with the same name on http://gentoo.kems.net/gentoo-portage/app-text/acroread/files/acroread-scim.patch but this may not be the right one). Another naive question: why does the PKGBUILD need the rpm file, when there is also a *.tar.gz on Adobe's server? |

Additional comments about closing: About RPM: It's easier, the .tar.gz contains a full interactive installer, while the RPM contains only the required parts.
